Meet Our Staff
Although we're proud of our products, services, and technology, nothing matches the pride we have in our staff. Bourne Graphics owners, Rik & Wendi Bourne, work along side their employees, Becky and Erich. Bill and Ginny Bourne, the founders of the business, are "retired" but still help out on a daily basis. Our Australian Shepherd, Fly, keeps a watchful eye over all.
Every person on our staff is committed to providing excellent customer service and producing high-quality products and services. As you work with us in the future, we're confident that you'll find this to be true.
Rik Bourne, President
Rik has been screen printing and making signs since 1975. He learned the craft of silk screen printing from his father, Bill. He and his wife of 26 years, Wendi, took over the business in 1996, when his father retired.
Rik is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, with a degree in Wildlife Management (he says that this is how he manages to stay married to Wendi).
In his free time, Rik plays fiddle, guitar, harmonica, and accordion with The Coyotes, and is the musician for The Kingsessing Morris Men. He also plays for square dances with Wendi accompanying him on guitar. When he's not playing music, you'll probably find him either out in the garden or cooking up something wonderful in the kitchen.
Wendi Bourne, Secretary / Treasurer / Office Manager
Wendi will most likely be the person to answer the phone or return your e-mail when you contact us. She is our customer service person, proofreader, and accounting executive.
Wendi joined the business in 1979, shortly after her marriage to Rik. She takes care of the telephones and paperwork so that everyone else can concentrate on producing the work.
When she is not at Bourne Graphics, Wendi is a musician. She plays guitar with Swing Groups GIRLS FROM MARS and SWING CITY, as well as with fiddle-guitar-banjo band, THE COYOTES (whom Rik plays with as well), and with Rik at square dances & concerts. She is also the coordinator of Swing Week at Augusta - an event which employs many musicians and dance instructors from around the country to promote & teach Swing Music and Dancing (www.augustaheritage.com) Ask her about music for your wedding, party or concert... she'll bring the signs for these events, too!
